For so many people all over the world Liverpool is the Beatles, never has one band made a city so famous. However Liverpool is famous for many other aspects of it’s bustling lifestyle, in particular the wealth and culture in its museums, galleries and architecture. It is certainly true to say if you haven’t already got the museum bug you certainly will when you visit Liverpool.
Liverpool is a visually stunning city, with a magical evening sky. Day or Night there are so many things to do in Liverpool. Weather you want to shop till you drop, wonder around the city streets, explore the Beatles story, watch the world go by in the street cafes, party hard all evening, go to the opera, or take a leisurely stroll around the famous Albert Docks, there is never a shortage of activities to amuse any one of all ages.
If the Hustle and Bustle of city life becomes too much it is easy to escape into the surrounding countryside. You can enjoy the picturesque coastal towns and country villages. Walkers can take advantage of the many country and coastal paths, or when the tide is low, make the short journey to Hibre Island, a haven for nature lovers and is great for bird watching.
Liverpool is also surrounded by some delightful towns, which are well worth a visit. The whole area has so much to offer what ever your interests and hobbies, from sport, culture to exploring the heritage sites.
