The Heart of England has beautiful examples of rolling English countryside dotted with picturesque towns and villages, such as Shrewsbury, or the more renowned Stratford-Upon-Avon the home and birthplace of Shakespeare. The Heart of England is also home to the Peak District, here you can seek out the villages hiding in the hills, and travel back in time by visiting some of the historical houses of the old English gentry. Why not visit Robin Hood Country in Nottinghamshire, visitors can enjoy a number of sites associated with the Hero outlaw, including Nottingham Castle and Sherwood Forest. If nature is what you are looking for then a trip to the Cotswolds, and the Royal Forest of dean and the Wye Valley are not to be missed.

If the laid-back countryside scene is not what you are looking for, but a more active and lively venue then the Heart of England can offer this too. If shopping is your thing then a trip to Birmingham and Nottingham are a must, as the UK’s third and fourth best shopping centers after London’s West End and Glasgow.
