Nestled in the Dales Harrogate is a delightful town to shop. There is everything from high street names to unique boutiques all set in the wonderful surroundings of this town. Harrogate also has an indoor shopping center for the essential all weather shopping. You may be in the heart of North Yorkshire, yet Harrogate has a cosmopolitan feel due to its fashionable boutiques, and 'pavement café' culture.Harrogate is also called by some 'the antique capital of the north' and you can be sure to find ample antiques to discover. The surrounding towns and villages of Harrogate are also great for shopping, giving you plenty of opportunities to find unusual presents, souvenirs and crafts. The nearby towns of Knaresborough and Ripon are also famous for their markets, which are well worth exploring.
