Manchester
Manchester is a great city and has so much to offer weather you are looking for the arts, entertainment, shopping, sport or leisure. All this and a great football team as well, plus immense music bands such as the 'Stone Roses' and 'Oasis'. Although a trip to Old Trafford is a must for any football fan, there is plenty for the whole family to discover.
Manchester is a city with a wealth of history from grand imposing town halls to mills, mines and Victorian streets. Greater Manchester has some of the best mansions and parks in the country. This is largely due to the industrial revolution when many of the landowners were involved in the industrial growth of the area. You can wonder through the Victorian streets, to 18th century landowner's mansions, to medieval merchant's houses.
If you prefer a more active scene Manchester has a lively shopping experience to offer from the house hold names of the Arndale Center, to the Hip and fashionable style of Afflex Palace, to the chic boutiques. When you have bought your new outfit you will be ready to party hard all night in Manchester's legendary night life and club scene.
