Tourist attractions in Stratford Upon Avon

Stratford offers many houses, courts and cottages to visit of historical importance that are open to the public, some of which are located a couple of miles out side of Stratford, which are still well worth a visit. Such as Anne Hathaways cottage, which is located in Shottery 2 miles west of Stratford. Coughton Court home of the Throckmorrton family, which can be located on the A435 North West of Stratford. Nash's House & New Place, which are on Chapel Street, outside here was the former last Stratford residence of Shakespeare-discover why it was destroyed.
The whole area of Shakespeare Country is rich with heritage, and there are also many Castles and Manors to explore. Don't miss out on the nearby towns of Warwick, Leamington Spa, and Kenilworth.
